[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]Kozara, a Dinaric mountain spanning 75 kilometers, lies between the rivers Sava to the north, Vrbas to the east, Sana to the south and Una to the west. It is classified as a low mountain with dynamic relief, its peaks not exceeding 1000 meters in altitude. Its mild continental climate, abundant sunny days and gentle peaks provide a special value to this region. Kozara is distinguished by its preserved forest complexes rich in diverse flora and fauna, complemented by pure mountain springs and thick coniferous forests.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]

\n\t\t\t\tIn the central part of the mountain, the Mrakovica Memorial Zone stands on a flat plateau. Built in 1972, it commemorates the fighters and people of Potkozarje who perished in World War II. The zone includes a museum, a memorial monument and a wall engraved with the names of the fallen. History lessons and accounts of Kozara\u2019s epic struggle for freedom are regularly held here.\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t <\/div>\n \t

\n\t\t\t\tFor adventurers, Kozara offers three via ferrata climbing routes graded C, D, and B, along with over 400 meters of secured hiking trails on the path from the Kotlovaca mountain hut to Zeciji Kamen. All trails are well-marked and can be taken without a guide. For younger visitors, a children\u2019s fitness trail has been built within the Memorial Zone at Mrakovica.<\/p>\n

An adventure park with five difficulty levels caters to both children and seasoned adventurers.<\/p>\n

In winter, two ski slopes are available – one for older skiers and another for the youngest enthusiasts. The larger slope is about 600 meters long, equipped with a ski lift that accommodates 900 skiers per hour and it is illuminated for night skiing. The children\u2019s slope is approximately 150 meters long, featuring a mini-lift with a capacity of 450 skiers per hour.<\/p>\n
