The World Rafting Championship was held on the Vrbas and Tara rivers in 2009 and 2022, which speaks volumes about how exciting rafting is on these rivers, both for amateurs and professionals. Additionally, the Vrbas River is perfect for kayaking and canoeing.

Skiing

Ski enthusiasts in the Republic of Srpska can find their perfect spot to enjoy. Untouched nature, rich vegetation, high snowfall during the winter season, ski slopes for all types of skiers, and a large number of visitors place Mount Jahorina among the most famous ski centers in the region. With the opening of the ski center, Ravna Planina has become a destination that attracts numerous tourists and ski enthusiasts.

The Kozara and Borja mountains have ski centers with smaller capacities, but their offerings are attractive to beginners and recreational skiers, especially on weekends.

Srpska offers you an adventure in all its forms, and climbing is definitely one of them. Some of the most popular destinations for lovers of this adrenaline activity include Kozara National Park, the Red Rocks of Romanija, the Tjesno Canyon, Pečka, and Sutjeska National Park…

Adventure Park

The Adventure Park consists of various hanging obstacles positioned on trees in the forest, at a height of 3 to 6 meters above the ground. It is a system of trails that hang in the air, suspended on cables. These are placed between the trees, with wooden platforms serving as starting or ending stations for one obstacle to the next.

Fly Fishing

The rivers Pliva and Ribnik have long been on the world map for anglers as locations with some of the most attractive areas for fly fishing.

Here, fly fishermen follow the “catch and release” principle, which provides them with the greatest pleasure in this sport of fishing. After being caught, each fish is released and returned to the water.

Gastronomy

When it comes to food, the people of these regions are true hedonists. Small meals are unknown here, whether in homes or at any place where food is served.

In food and good drinks, we simply enjoy. And when this enjoyment is accompanied by our folk music, you will experience a complete delight for all your senses.
