Organized by the Tourism Organization of the Republic of Srpska and the Tourist Organization of the City of Banja Luka, and facilitated by the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in Greece, the Republic of Srpska welcomed Ms. Lazarou Melpomeni, Deputy Mayor of the City of Volos in charge of Tourism.

During the visit, discussions focused on opportunities to strengthen cooperation in the field of tourism, connect destinations, exchange knowledge and expertise, and develop joint promotional activities. Particular emphasis was placed on sustainable tourism development, enhancement of tourism products, and the exchange of best practices in destination management.

The meetings also provided an opportunity to present the tourism offer of the Republic of Srpska — ranging from its natural beauty and outdoor activities to its cultural and historical heritage and event tourism — while opening new avenues for institutional and business cooperation.

This visit represents an important step toward expanding international cooperation and further positioning the Republic of Srpska as a recognizable and competitive tourism destination on the regional and European markets, as well as continuing cooperation and promotional activities with Greece with the institutional support of the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in Greece.
