Mljecanica Spa
The therapeutic water of Banja Mljecanica spa has been known for over 5000 years, with initial mineral water research conducted by the Vienna chemists E. Ludwig and S. Kratzer between 1886 and 1889. Located in a beautiful natural setting on the northwestern slopes of Kozara, Banja Mljecanica (Institute for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) is designed as a modern specialized facility for physiotherapy and rehabilitation, providing conditions for successful recovery and a pleasant stay for its visitors. The serene environment of the Institute offers excellent opportunities for relaxation and rest, with sports grass fields available for various recreational sports.

Hotel of the Institute
The Special Hospital “Mljecanica” has approximately 150 beds spread across multiple levels. The semi-intensive care department has 18 beds, under constant monitoring by nurses and doctors. This department accommodates the most demanding patients who are not capable of independent daily activities. Therapeutic procedures are carried out within this department, which is equipped with a kinesitherapy room.
There are also around 85 beds in hotel rooms and apartments for patients that can move on their own. The rooms on the first floor are triple rooms, while those on the second floor are double rooms, equipped with televisions and wireless internet. The apartments are double and come with a kitchenette, bathroom, TV and internet access.
Bungalows
A separate part of the accommodation is the bungalow settlement, consisting of 15 bungalows with 45 beds arranged around the hospital. These triple rooms are equipped with televisions, heating, air conditioning, wireless internet, and are surrounded by a beautifully landscaped park following modern horticultural principles.
