TORS at Vienna Tourism Fair

The Tourist Organization of the Republic of Srpska is participating in the International Tourism Fair Ferien-Messe in Vienna, Austria, which opens today and will run until 18 January 2026.

The presentation of the tourism offer of the Republic of Srpska at this fair is once again being implemented in cooperation with the Representative Office of the Republic of Srpska in Vienna and the Ministry of Trade and Tourism of the Government of the Republic of Srpska.

As the largest tourism fair in Austria, the event attracts a significant number of Austrian tour operators. The fair brings together exhibitors from 70 countries worldwide, more than 700 exhibitors, and records over 150,000 visitors.

The Austrian market is of great importance to the Republic of Srpska due to its size, geographical proximity, and the travel habits and spending patterns of Austrian tourists.

According to data from the Institute of Statistics of the Republic of Srpska, tourists from Austria recorded 16,203 overnight stays, representing an increase of 12.5% compared to the previous year.

This year’s presentation focuses on the offers of cities, spa and wellness centres, rafting, canyoning, rural tourism, summer activities, cultural and historical heritage, gastronomy, and other forms of active tourism for which Austrian tourists show particular interest, as well as the overall tourism offer for the upcoming season.
